01 What It Does

Match an Infographic Layout to the Information

An infographic planning and raster-generation workflow with independent layout and style choices and a structured-content record.

Source-based workflowNot an execution benchmark

The Working Approach

Baoyu Infographic separates layout from visual style. The source offers structures for comparisons, cycles, hierarchies, journeys, spatial relationships and dense guides, then pairs them with a rendering direction. Before image generation, it creates structured content with learning objectives, sections, labels and source data.

The final output is a generated raster infographic with a saved prompt and analysis record. It is useful for visual summaries, but dense text and numbers remain an inspection risk: a faithful prompt does not prove a faithful image. The source directs corrections through revised prompts or lower-text layouts, not silent bitmap text replacement.

Expected Deliverables

  • A structured content plan with source-derived labels and data
  • A selected layout-and-style combination with a saved prompt
  • A generated infographic image in the chosen aspect ratio

From Brief to Review

  1. 01
    Structure the Facts

Identify the learning goal and preserve the supplied values, terminology and relationships without adding unsupported information.

  2. 02
    Choose the Visual Form

Compare layouts that fit the data structure, then select a compatible style, aspect ratio and language.

  3. 03
    Render and Reconcile

Generate from the saved prompt and compare every important label and value with the structured source before accepting the image.

02 When to Use It

When to Use It

An available raster image backend plus layout, style and configuration references.

A Good Fit

  • Visual SummariesUseful for a self-contained explanation of a process, comparison or conceptual framework.
  • Data-Rich GuidesFits a deliberate dense layout when the intended display size can support its text and labels.

Limits to Check

  • Not an Editable Data ChartThe output is a raster image, not a chart connected to a spreadsheet or a set of editable vector marks.
  • Generation Does Not Verify DataThe source values must be reliable, and the rendered image still needs a value-by-value check.

Bring These Inputs

  • Approved ContentSupply the exact facts, labels and numbers that the image may contain.
  • Reading ObjectiveExplain what the audience should understand after seeing the graphic.
  • Display ContextSpecify aspect ratio, language and the size at which the infographic will be read.

03 Decisions That Matter

Decisions That Matter

  1. Layout Follows Relationships

A cycle, hierarchy and comparison get different structures rather than being forced into interchangeable cards.

  2. Structured Intermediate Content

The content plan provides a concrete reference for checking what the image model actually rendered.

04 Try a Focused Brief

The example brief below has not been tested. Check the skill’s setup before using it.

Review the Setup

Keep the complete reference set and configure the available image backend. Generation output must be checked against the source data.

Start With One Deliverable

Adapt the scope, source material and constraints in this brief before running the skill.

Example Brief
Use baoyu-infographic to explain the supplied three-stage onboarding process. Preserve all stage names and counts exactly, propose two suitable layout-and-style combinations and wait for confirmation. Save structured content and the final prompt, then inspect the generated image for missing steps, altered numbers and unreadable labels. Do not add new statistics.

Inspect the Result

Check the actual output against these observable criteria.

  • The selected layout communicates the intended relationship.
  • Rendered labels and values reconcile with the approved source.
  • The infographic remains readable at its intended display size.

06 Questions Before You Start

Questions Before You Start

Can I choose layout and style independently?

Yes. That separation is the source's main organizing principle, subject to practical compatibility and readability.

Is the output an SVG?

No. This workflow renders an infographic image. Baoyu Diagram is the separate SVG-oriented workflow.

What if the content is too dense?

Reduce on-image text, change the layout or split the explanation rather than accepting unreadable labels merely because generation completed.
