Connect AI and tools
Choose an AI connection
Set up Cloud, your own model key, or a local CLI and understand who bills each connection.
Connect external tools to the OpenDesign Cloud API
Manage your OpenDesign API keys on the web and use plan-supported models in an external agent. The OpenDesign desktop app is not required. One-click setup imports the connection through CC Switch on your computer.
Connect your own model key
Bring a key from a model provider or gateway. A successful connection needs a matching provider, endpoint, model ID, and account permission.
Use a local command-line agent
Keep the agent you already use. Install and authenticate it first, then let OpenDesign discover its executable.
Connect image, video, and audio providers
Add media credentials only for the services your project needs. A model-chat connection does not configure every media service.
Connect an external agent with MCP
Use OpenDesign MCP when another agent needs to work with your OpenDesign project. This is a tool connection, separate from choosing a model provider.
Create
Choose a creation type
Choose the output you need on Home, then give the agent a brief it can build and you can verify. The creation type guides the workflow; it does not promise a particular export format.

Brief, preview, revise, and render a motion project, then download the checked MP4.
Build an interactive prototype
Start from a template or brief, edit the page, and test the result.
Edit directly on the canvas
Adjust text, elements, and layout; understand preview, save, and undo.
