design-style-skill chooses one consistent visual system for PPT slides by varying corner radius (rectRadius) and spacing, all in inches on a 10" × 5.625" LAYOUT_16x9 canvas built with PptxGenJS. Four styles are defined by corner-radius range and spacing range, each paired with the scenarios it suits, from data-dense reports to launch events.

Every recipe gives numeric radius tokens in inches; Rounded & Spacious sets its large radius at 0.25".

The component table gives a rectRadius per component across all four styles, so a card/container is 0.03" in Sharp, 0.1" in Soft, 0.2" in Rounded and 0.3" in Pill.

Know the Boundaries

An inner radius larger than its outer container reads as visual overflow and is called out as wrong.
Fixed Pill radius values do not fit short elements: anything under 0.3" high must use half its height instead.

Element heightsRadii are looked up by element height band per style, so you need the height of each element you are styling.
Slide size, which is fixedThe spacing scale is defined against a 10" × 5.625" slide, so all values assume that canvas.

Data-display regions take the tighter Sharp or Soft spacing rather than a loose recipe.
Avatars Go Fully Round in Pill
Avatar frames use rectRadius 0.5" in Pill, against 0.1" in Soft and 0.2" in Rounded.
Nothing Below 10 Pt
Annotations and sources sit at 10-12 pt, which the table calls the minimum readable size.
Page Margin Is Part of the Recipe
Pill & Airy sets the page margin at 0.6", the widest of the four style recipes.

Cross-check every radius against the height band: a 0.3"-0.6" element takes 0.02" / 0.05" / 0.12" / half its height depending on style.
Keep the page safe margin inside the 0.4"-0.6" band from the spacing table.
Verify decorative gaps such as icon-to-text spacing stay between 0.08" and 0.15".
