The Working Approach
Nano Banana Pro OpenRouter wraps an image workflow around a Python script run with uv. The reviewed source targets an OpenRouter Gemini image model and supports three distinct uses: generate from text, edit a supplied image or combine multiple references. Repeated input-image arguments allow up to three source images in one request.
The practical controls are deliberately small: an output filename, a 1K, 2K or 4K resolution choice, and an optional system-template asset. Returned images are saved with numbered suffixes when there is more than one. This is an API-driven image workflow, so current model availability, account credits and the rights to uploaded reference images need to be checked independently.
Expected Deliverables
- A generated or edited image at an explicit filename
- A composite made from up to three supplied source images
- Numbered image files when a response contains multiple outputs
From Brief to Review
- 01Prepare the Inputs
Decide whether the task is generation, editing or compositing. Supply no more than three local reference images and identify what each contributes.
- 02Set the Output Contract
Choose a filename and resolution. State which elements must remain unchanged so a broad edit prompt does not unintentionally replace the subject.
- 03Run and Review the Files
Use the bundled script with the configured OpenRouter account. Inspect the saved outputs separately and report authentication or credit failures clearly.
